George Butnaru is a senior software engineer with 14+ years of experience specializing in C++ and Python for backend and embedded Linux systems. He currently works as a freelance/contractor and has held senior engineering roles at Thales (C++/security for train communication systems), Luxoft/Continental (automotive tools and gesture recognizers), Gameloft (cross-platform C++ client libraries), and Misys (financial systems). At Thales he led development of secure key storage and a TLS-based remote key provisioning solution and has substantial experience with CI/CD, unit testing and automation.
